Professor Dr. Yan-Ling Liang, our family-like friend, respected colleague, and renowned mentor, passed away suddenly peacefully in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, on 8 December 2021, at the age of 88, survived by his wife, two sons, grandchildren.
